IS MY SPECIFIED CREDIT CARD AUTOMATICALLY CHARGED ONLINE BOOKING?

In case of a refundable booking no deposit is required. Your credit card will be pre-authorized to guarantee the booking. A pre-authorization is not a debit, but a temporary reservation of a certain amount. For a non-refundable booking, the full amount will be charged on the day of the reservation. The credit card will be charged with the booking amount. 100% deposit is not refundable.
 

CAN I BOOK WITHOUT CREDIT CARD?

A booking without a credit card is possible. An alternative to the booking guarantee is a deposit via bank transfer. Once the deposit is transferred, you will receive a confirmation from us.
 

WHEN AND HOW DO I PAY MY STAY?

The type of your hotel booking determines which payment options are offered and when your payment is due.
For payment on the spot payment is made on departure. You can pay your bill in cash, by debit card or by credit card.
A deposit can be made by credit card or by bank transfer.

DOES THE PRICED PRICE PER PERSON OR PER ROOM VALID?

The prices are per room for the specified travel period. Depending on the occupancy of the room, the room rate varies. It is therefore necessary to announce the correct number of guests when booking.
 

IS THE TAX INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?

Our room prices already include the VAT 10% and the Vienna Tourist Tax 3.2%.
 

IS THE BREAKFAST INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?

Stanys quick breakfast, served in our self-service lounge, is not included in the room rate, but can be booked at any time. You can also decide on the spot if you want to have breakfast or not - every day as you wish.
 

IS THE PARKING INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?

The hotel's own parking spaces directly in the courtyard of the hotel can be reserved at a greatly reduced price by means of the online inquiry form or by e-mail.


ARE ENERGY COSTS TO BE PAID SEPARATELY?

No. The energy costs (electricity and gas) are included in the room price.


WHEN IS AN ONLINE BOOKING AUTHENTIC?

Your online booking is binding at the moment you send us the booking form by clicking on the "book now" button.


WHAT ARE THE CANCELLATION TERMS?

All standard bookings received directly by us can be canceled or changed until 6 pm on the day before arrival. In case of later cancellation, change or in case of no-show, a cancellation fee equal to the room rate for the first night will be charged.
There are special cancellation and payment conditions for our special offers.
The particularly favorable tariffs are not flexible and can neither be canceled nor changed. 100% prepayment is required on the day of reservation and is non-refundable. All cancellations, changes and no-shows will be charged to the total amount. The corresponding cancellation fees are non-refundable even if a new booking is made. Especially with prepaid bookings we recommend you to take out travel cancellation insurance.


HOW CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY BOOKING?

A free booking change is not always possible. Please note the cancellation conditions of the respective booking.
Bookings made directly at the hotel - by phone, e-mail or on the hotel's website can also be canceled or modified at the hotel. Bookings made with an internet broker such as booking.com, HRS, Expedia, hotels.com etc. or through a travel agency can only be canceled or changed via the respective provider.

 

HOW FAR, IS IT TO THE AIRPORT?

The airport Vienna Schwechat VIE is located 25km, about 35 minutes by car from the hotel.
The airport bus departs every 30 minutes from the airport in the direction of Westbahnhof between 6.20 am and 12.42 pm, journey time approx. 45 minutes.
Access to the hotel is also possible by CAT (City Airport Train) and subway line U3.
Take the CAT from the airport to Wien Mitte, where you change to the underground line U3 in the direction of "Ottakring". Get off at station "Westbahnhof". From there it is only about a 7-minute walk along the Äußere Mariahilferstraße or 1 station with the tram line 58 or 52 in the direction of Hietzing or Penzing to STANYS.
 

HOW FAR IS IT TO THE RAILWAY STATION?

The Westbahnhof is the starting point and terminus of the Westbahn and is located on the well-known Viennese shopping street, a 7-minute walk along the Äußere Mariahilferstraße from the STANYS Hotel. You can also get to the hotel from the Westbahnhof by tram 58 or 52 in the direction of Hietzing or Penzing.
Arriving at the central station, take tram 18 to Wien Westbahnhof.
 

WHERE CAN YOU PARK, HOW DO I FIND THE PARKING LOTS AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Our hotel is located in a short-term parking zone, where parking is chargeable at set times. In the area of ​​nationwide short-term parking zones it is allowed to park for 1.5 hours with a park pick-ax and an inserted parking disc.
The short-term parking zone is valid from Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm and Saturday from 8am to 12pm.
The hotel's own parking spaces directly in the courtyard of the hotel can be reserved with the help of the online request form or by e-mail for a fee of € 13, - per day.

HOW TO GET THE BEST INTO THE OLD TOWN?

Along Mariahilfer Straße, Vienna's largest and most famous shopping street, you can reach the city center within 30 minutes on foot.
STANYS is also convincing due to its easy accessibility by public transport. In just 5 subway stations from the Westbahnhof (about 10 minutes on the U3 line) you are at the Stephansplatz, near St. Stephen's Cathedral, in the heart of the old town of Vienna.
 

WHERE CAN I BUY FAIRS FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORT?

At the reception you can buy the 48 hours Vienna Card. With this advantage card, you can enjoy more than 210 advantages at museums and sights, theaters and concerts, at shopping, in cafes, restaurants and at the Heuriger, as well as free travel on the underground, bus and tram.
Tickets for single tickets and time tickets can be purchased at the ticket vending machines in the neighboring Trafik or at Westbahnhof.

 

FROM WHEN CAN THE ROOM BE COVERED?

Please understand that the room can not be occupied before 2pm. If you arrive earlier, you can at any rate store your luggage with us and immediately start your stay in Vienna. If the room is cleaned and ready for occupancy before 2 pm, you can move in earlier. If you arrive outside reception hours (6-22h), please let us know by phone. You will gain access to the hotel via a 6 digit entrance code, which you will receive from us.
 

WHEN DOES THE ROOM MUST BE LEFT ON THE DEPARTURE DAY?

On the day of departure the room is available until 11 o'clock.
A later departure is possible only on availability and for a fee (50% of the daily rate). If you would like to check out after 11.00, please contact the reception.
 

CAN I LEAVE MY SUITCASES AFTER CHECK OUT AT THE HOTEL?

Of course. You can store your luggage at the reception.
 

WHERE SHOULD I GIVE MY ROOM KEY WHEN I WANT TO CHECK OUT OUTSIDE THE RECEPTION OPENING TIMES?

Please inform the reception in good time about your departure, so that we can settle your stay. The room key can be left in the room. You have the option to leave the hotel through a side entrance even without a key.

 

WHAT IS UNDERSTANDING APARTMENT HOTEL?

By apartment hotel we mean the complete combination of accommodation in a hotel and the rent of an apartment. We offer the comfort of a hotel as well as daily housekeeping, change of towels and bed linen every 4 days, reception from 06:00 to 22:00, WiFi Internet, on request breakfast buffet, coffee and beverage bar. At the same time you can also enjoy the sovereignty of a fully furnished apartment (different equipment depending on the room type).
 

HOW ARE THE APARTMENTS EQUIPPED?

We offer you 36 newly built apartments with a generous room layout between 36 and 52 m² total size.
Each apartment has cable TV, direct dial telephone, laptop safe and free wireless Internet access. The bathrooms of the apartments are equipped with a shower, towel warmer, hair dryer, some complimentary toiletries and a toilet. Bath slippers are available on request at the reception. All rooms also have a fridge, filled with 2 complimentary bottles of mineral water on arrival, a Cafissimo machine with 2 free coffee per person per stay and a kettle.

The Monkey Apartments, with a total area of ​​30 to 36 m², are very spacious and equipped with a comfortable double bed, a comfortable seating area and a work desk. Twin rooms with separate beds are available on request and subject to availability.
Some Monkey apartments are characterized by a spatial separation between sleeping area and living area. Some also have a south-facing balcony or an integrated kitchenette.

All Elephant apartments have a south-facing balcony and consist of a separate bedroom and living room. They have a spacious kitchenette, equipped with a fridge, 2 hot plates, a microwave, a dishwasher, a kettle and a cafissimo machine and dishes (plates, cups, glasses and pots) and cutlery. The living area features a comfortable pull-out sofa, TV and a large writing / working table with chairs. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and another TV.

Our Zebra Apartments, with a total area of ​​approximately 52 m², are all located in the attic on the 6th floor and offer a spacious terrace with a wonderful view over Vienna. The loft-like sleeping and living area has exquisite decor with a comfortable sitting area and a large double bed. The living area also has a large writing / working table with chairs. The air conditioning in the room is individually controllable. The integrated kitchenette has a fridge, 2 hotplates, a microwave, a dishwasher, a kettle and a cafissimo machine and dishes (plates, cups, glasses and pots) and cutlery.

 

HOW MANY GUESTS CAN BE SUBJECTED IN AN APARTMENT?

The occupancy of one apartment depends on the booked room category.
The Monkey Apartments are suitable for 1 to 2 persons, ideal for business travelers and individual city visitors. An extra bed for one person is possible with extra charge and on request.
Our Elephant Apartments are very popular with families.
Equipped with a double bed in the bedroom and a pull-out sofa in the living room, the apartment offers enough space for max. 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults without children. Further extra beds are not possible.
The Zebra Apartments are ideal for guests who want to treat themselves to more space and therefore a little more luxury. Perfect for 1 to 2 persons, an extra bed for one person is possible with extra charge and on request.

A cot can be provided in each apartment type without extra charge. Please inform us at the time of booking that you are traveling with a toddler.
 

WILL BEDDING AND TOWELS BE PROVIDED?

Yes. All apartments are provided with fresh linen and towels.
 

HOW OFTEN ARE THE APARTMENTS CLEANED? IS THERE FINAL CLEANING COST?

We offer a daily cleaning service and every 4 days a change of linen or towels. The cost of cleaning is already included in the room rate. Also for longer stays no additional costs for final cleaning will be charged.
 

IS THERE A MINIBAR IN THE APARTMENTS?

All apartments are equipped with a fridge. On arrival we fill the fridge with 2 free bottles of mineral water. You can buy more drinks at our hotel bar.
 

IS THERE WIFI AND HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

High speed WiFi is available in all public areas as well as in every room and is free of charge. You will receive the access code upon arrival.
There is also a laptop at the front desk where you can surf for free or do a web check-in for your flight if you do not have your laptop with you.
 

ARE THERE WHEELCHAIRABLE APARTMENTS IN STANYS?

All apartments are wheelchair accessible with a lift. We especially recommend our Zebra Apartments. Due to the open design of the room, guests with reduced mobility enjoy special living comfort.
 

DO YOU HAVE ALLERGY BEDDING / ALLERGY ROOMS?

All our apartments are suitable for allergy sufferers. We consciously do without the "dust catchers" like cushions and carpets. Our blankets and pillows are changed regularly and the mattress covers washed to minimize the risk of developing allergies.
 

IS THERE A SAFE OR SAFE STORAGE POSSIBILITY?

Each apartment has a laptop safe available to our guests.
 

DO THE APARTMENTS HAVE AIR CONDITIONING?

Our Zebra Apartments in the attic have air conditioning that can be individually regulated.
All other apartments are equipped with a fan in summer.
 

CAN I REGULATE THE HEATING IN THE APARTMENT?

It is a gas floor heating, which is individually adjustable in the apartment.
 

IS THERE A HAIRDRESS IN THE APARTMENTS?

CAN I GET IN STANYS HYGIENE ITEM?

Yes, soap and shampoo are standard in every apartment. For more hygiene products, please ask at the reception.
 

WHERE CAN I SMOKE?

STANYS is a smoke-free hotel. Smoking in the room is not permitted out of consideration for other guests. Smoking is allowed on the balcony as well as on the terrace on the ground floor.
 

HOW LONG IS THE RECEPTION HAD I TAKE THE KEY?

Our reception is open from 6:00 to 22:00. For this reason we ask our guests to always take the room key with them.
 

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST IF I LOSE THE ROOM KEY?

Should the key be lost, we will incur substantial costs of up to € 200, - per key. These costs will be charged to the guest.
